Eddie Stobart Depot Crick

Set off for Crick in bright sunshine and arrived at main reception to view the latest Eddie Truck and some of its older family. Junior enjoyed an initial browse through the display cabinet of Eddie Stobart merchandise. Then it was off to the depot for some spotting - firstly we signed in and were given our flourescent jackets. Juniors was a little large! We then noted all the Eddies we could see in the depot car park and met up with a number of other spotters hiding around the car park. We were easily the youngest spotters and least serious. We were amazed at how many Eddie Stobart trucks arrived and departed from the depot in the 45 minutes we were there. Junior was itching to make some purchases of Eddie merchandise and came away with Eddie bear (female version) now named young Eddie in our house together with two radio controlled cars and Van Rental Truck. We returned home with 46 spots to enter onto our page of the web site and looking forward to a return visit. Here are a few trucks we managed to photograph. Next time we go we will take our binoculars.

The Museum and out Spotting
The museum and shop at Crick have a few vehicles to look at and explore. There are the older vehicles like this one.

Or this one....

And you can climb up and see inside a cab such as this sleeping area in a brand new cab.

It is a long way up to the cab - although I managed it Junior did not

At the site where you do the spotting is the Transport Planning Office which is a hive of activity
